The Product Photographer at Maui Divers Jewelry is responsible for shooting, editing, and delivering photographs for website, social media/email, special events, and campaigns. The role will contribute to video and other productions in a support and capture role. High-level attention to detail, punctuality, creativity, file management, organization, and a drive to improve the visual output of Maui Divers Jewelry is required to excel in the role.You will spend most of your time editing photos and photographing products within the studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Composition, capture, editing, and delivery of white background, studio, and lifestyle product photography adhering to internal photography standards and style. Provide support for external photo and video shoots, working closely with the Marketing Director to identify support needs and additional capture opportunities. File management of photographs, internal assets, and marketing collateral. Pitch new lifestyle and product photography ideas aligning with Maui Divers Jewelry brand. Uphold photography standards, processes, guidelines, and other areas of photography as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

3+ years of working professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom) as well as Helicon Focus and Capture One. A strong portfolio of product photographs is required for this role. Experience with Fujifilm, Canon & Sony camera systems. Experience with professional photography equipment (Broncolor, Profoto & Grip equipment) Technical proficiency with file management software. Must be able to sit, stand, reach, and kneel for long periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Attention to detail, organization, ability to multi-task, and keep areas clean. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with others. Keep abreast of industry trends and continually suggest new methodologies to improve internal processes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of photography and videography Degree or 2-3 years of professional photography experience 3 years experience with Adobe Suite Model photography, video and photo editing and modification.
