• Specialty Services On-Site : Access to Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology, Genetic Counseling and Palliative Care.
• Collaborative Environment : Participate in weekly Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences to discuss and plan patient care.
• Innovative Telemedicine : Extend your reach with our community cancer center and telemedicine services utilizing TCON, E consults and virtual patient visits.
• Research Opportunities : Engage in cutting-edge clinical trials through our NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) grant.
• Accredited Programs : Our program is recognized as an Integrated Network Cancer Center program (INCP) accreditation by Comprehensive Community Cancer Program and holds a National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers by the American College of Surgeons.
• Leadership Structure : Essentia Health is a dyad-led organization with strong physician and administrative leadership
• Advanced EMR : We utilize EPIC electronic medical record in both inpatient and ambulatory facilities, ensuring top-tier electronic medical record utilization.

Job Specifics

• Consultative Call Only : Hospitalists handle admissions and night coverage.
• Patient Load : Manage an average of 12-14 follow-up visits and 1-2 new patients daily.
• Team Dynamics : Join a growing team of 4 MDs and 3 APC, with anticipated future grown/expansion.
• Regional Outreach : Provide care one to two days day per week at regional clinics in Park Rapids and Fosston, MN.
• Call Schedule : Approximately 10 days of call per month.
• Technology : Utilization of the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
• Experience : Proven experience as a Hematology/Oncology Physician

COMPENSATION

• $535,000 . Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
