Nesco Resource is currently hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our client located in Waverly, NY. Multiple positions available with immediate start. Pay: $22.00
Hours:
1st shift: 6am-230pm
2nd shift: 2pm-1030pm
3rd shift 10pm to 6:30am
Monday thru Friday
Weekends off
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious
Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials efficiently while following safety protocols. The Forklift Operator will play a key role in warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate material handling.
Key Responsibilities: - Operate a standup forklift to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the facility.
- Stack and organize products in designated storage areas.
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies to prevent accidents and damage.
- Assist with inventory control by scanning, labeling, and tracking shipments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely deliveries.
- Report any malfunctions, safety concerns, or discrepancies to the supervisor.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven experience as a standup forklift operator in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment: - Warehouse or production setting
- Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- May require overtime, weekends, or shift work based on operational needs
