We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Camp Programs Manager.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the greater New York Metro Area for a Camp Programs Manager. The Camp Programs Manager will play a central role in ensuring the growth, quality, and overall success of iCAMP’s seasonal and summer camp programs. This position is dedicated to the staffing, training, and expansion of iCAMP’s camp offerings. In addition, the role will support camp enrollment through B2C support, sales initiatives and outreach, contributing to the continued growth of iCAMP’s programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a strong communicator, and motivated to build impactful camp experiences for children and families.

This position will require approximately 75% travel during the summer months to visit and support campsites. A valid driver’s license is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in staffing all camp programs by recruiting and placing qualified team members.
  • Train and onboard new camp directors and seasonal staff to maintain program quality.
  • Manage and support summer camp directors, providing ongoing guidance and accountability.
  • Coordinate procurement, organization, and distribution of camp materials and supplies across all sites.
  • Identify, evaluate, and help secure new camp venues to support program expansion.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategies for camp growth.
  • Oversee daily operational needs across campsites to ensure smooth and consistent delivery.
  • Monitor performance and feedback to enhance both staff and camper experiences.
  • Support the development and adaptation of camp curriculum to ensure engaging and age-appropriate programming.
  • Own camp enrollment sales efforts, serving as the primary point of contact for prospective families and driving revenue growth.
  • Maintain year-round customer support for camp families through email and phone, ensuring strong relationships and timely responses to inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in summer camp management, youth programs, or related roles.
  • Previous experience supervising seasonal staff or program teams.
  • Strong skills in recruitment, training, and team management.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, program growth, or client outreach.
  • Independent, proactive, and motivated to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time during the summer season.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Passion for iCAMP’s mission of delivering innovative, hands-on STEM education in a camp setting.
