Job Details We are looking for an organized entry-level accountant to be responsible for ensuring accuracy of financial records. Responsibilities include maintaining the financial records of the company by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists Accounting Manager and Assistant Accounting Manager in preparation of financial statements
Processes A/P by entering invoices to pay via check and ACH
Processes A/R by coding and applying payments accurately to customer accounts and general ledger
Reconcile A/R and A/P control accounts to detail aging
Updates account payable records and vendor statements
Reconciles cash receipts and disbursements
Assists with reviewing income and expenses
Performs account analysis on general ledger accounts
Answers accounting questions by researching and interpreting data
All other duties as assigned

Must successfully pass a criminal and credit background check

Computer Skills
Understanding of standard accounting software and Microsoft Word and Excel
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's in Accounting from a four-year college or university
