Job Description

The Once Upon a Time Foundation (OUAT) is a $275 million foundation in Fort Worth, TX with three main areas of interest - community partnerships, health and medicine, and the Philanthropy Lab.

OUAT is seeking a bright, eager, and dedicated individual to join the team in its downtown Fort Worth, TX office. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and updating any of the Foundation's four websites, as well as creating, designing, and strategizing media content. This individual will join a team of 7-8 people who work across OUAT's various program areas. This will be a full-time position of approximately 50 hours a week in the office.

The ideal candidate will have a desire to develop both their creative, communicative, writing and analytical skills, and have strong attention to detail. As the Foundation's lead on web and digital content, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing four WordPress-based websites, while also contributing to the Foundation's broader digital marketing strategy. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and creative sides of digital communication.

Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining, updating, and improving our current company websites:
  • Designing and implementing new web pages and features using WordPress, with a focus on our user experience, accessibility, and responsive design
  • Optimizing websites for SEO and performance to increase visibility and engagement
  • Creating and coordinating social media content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.
  • Developing and executing creative digital campaigns to engage new audiences and re-engage existing ones
  • Collaborate with team members to produce compelling visual and written content
  • Working with graphic design programs to create company graphics
  • Developing written content to accompany visual graphics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • 3-5 years of professional experience with related to website maintenance, content creation and/or social media management in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize across projects to meet goals and deadlines
  • Willingness to make a minimum two-year commitment to the position
  • Be able to work around the company's typical office hours (8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday-Friday)

Compensation

Compensation will be increased by 10% over current, depending on experience, plus full benefits.
