The sponsor requires web development support for the ground-up development, build, continuous management, and maintenance of a WordPress-based website. Responsibilities include updating educational and outreach content, creating and managing comment capabilities, uploading and managing video content, and creating sections for administrative functions, including shared calendar management. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain a website using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the development of new websites and modifications of existing ones. Analyze user needs and site requirements to determine feasibility within time and resource constraints. Apply coding and testing standards, security testing tools, and conduct code reviews. Compile and write documentation of site development and revisions, including comments in code for clarity. Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify issues, and suggest changes. Build sustainable relationships through timely, open, and interactive communication. Required Qualifications Experience with WordPress. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint. Experience with open source software. Experience with content management systems. Experience writing workflows, including changing security permissions. Experience building customized reports, forms, and features. Experience configuring and administering search, site collections, and developing new content types in WordPress and SharePoint. Desired Qualifications Experience with web application development. Certification as a SharePoint Administrator. BCore is an equal opportunity employer.
