Salary: $16-17 an hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Associate (WA) plays a vital role in fulfilling customer orders and supporting the companys operational efficiency. The WA is responsible for accurately preparing and dispatching orders, engaging with customers professionally, and contributing to production and assembly tasks, including operating machinery. This position also involves receiving and organizing truckloads of materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and collaborating with the team to enhance workflow. Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

• Fulfill material orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring they are prepared and dispatched on time.
• Dispatch and process material orders to meet customer expectations.
• Professionally interact with customers and provide necessary assistance.
• Work in production and assembly processes, including measuring materials.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as routing machines and cutting tools.
• Receive truckloads of materials and organize them in designated warehouse locations.
• Safely use forklifts and other machinery as needed for unloading and organizing materials.
• Keep materials properly stored and arranged for easy access and safety.
• Keep workspaces clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance workflow and productivity.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety protocols.

• Ability to operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely.

• Valid drivers license required for deliveries and company vehicle operation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or related fields preferred.
• Experience in landscaping or in interior/exterior construction is a plus.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Proven track record of reliability and productivity.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Capable of working in various positions, including standing, bending, and moving throughout the warehouse.
• Good manual agility for handling equipment and paperwork.
• Ability to use basic warehouse tools and equipment safely.
• Comfort working in both an office and warehouse setting.
