The Senior Producer will work alongside other video production team members (i.e., Producer, Associate Producers, Production Coordinators, Shooter / Editors, as well as other members of the Simple Concepts (SC) Creative Design and Event Teams to manage a variety of fast-moving video and motion graphic projects. The Senior Producer is involved in, and ultimately responsible for, all aspects of production management from kickoff to final delivery. They must have a clear understanding of all phases and aspects of video production and collaborate easily with other Video Production team members. The Senior Producer is the primary point of contact for clients and their deliverables (in partnership with the Client Engagement Team) and is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of video productions in-studio, onsite, and online as well as hybrid recordings. Producer Responsibilities and Requirements Ability to work on multiple projects at once, that likely will have different stages of completion, and prioritize demanding and fast changing deadlines. Work as part of a team as well as independently on all task types associated with the role. Run SC Video Production Team daily syncs, allocate and prioritize team resources based on deliverable deadlines and other dependencies. Lead client scoping meetings to understand the deliverable needs, create estimates and manage (or delegate the process) of onboarding new engagements. Be able to work in our Kirkland, WA studio up to 3-5 days a week.Partial remote work is possible, but this is not a remote position. Produce and direct online, studio, onsite and hybrid video productions. Confidently direct talent in a professional, yet friendly, manner to promote their confidence and ability to deliver their content. Track project progress and escalate concerns as needed to the Editor Team Lead and Practice Manager. Collaborate with other Video Team and Simple Concepts teams as well as executive management, to prioritize and assign production resources based on multiple variables including, but not limited to client relationships, deliverable deadlines, resource availability and utilization and budget management. Gather and organize project assets from clients so that Production or the assets can begin as planned and without delay. Complete engagement deliverables within a schedule and on budget with very high client satisfaction. Perform quality control checks on final deliverables before sharing with clients to ensure client confidence. Serve as the primary client contact, providing expertise and guidance in all stages of video production. Have an outgoing and amiable personality that makes prospects and clients feel comfortable in working with the Producer as their primary point of contact. Have a strong work ethic, be dependable, flexible, resourceful and capable of finding collaborative solutions to complex problems. Additional Producer Videographer and Editor Skill Requirements Has intermediate experience as a "video crew member" and can set-up / operate cameras, lights and microphones in a studio environment or onsite, and if needed, take on these roles with limited guidance for engagements when other team resources or contractors are not available. Has intermediate experience using editing in Adobe Premiere, and if needed, can confidently and with limited instruction, assemble drafts as well as final deliverables of straight-forward productions (i.e. one camera recording with PowerPoint slides or other assets provided by client) when resource load balancing is needed one the team due to cyclical demand and when it other contractors are not available or don’t make sense to bring into a project. Has strong working knowledge in using other Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Operational Excellence Requirements Manage client meetings independently as well as with account management support or leadership. Compile notes from meetings and send out within one business day (or sooner) of meeting. Using SC tools maintain accurate time keeping for all projects. Create engagement and deliverable workback schedules and update as required. CRM Activities and Tasks Use CRM to track client history, create estimates and draft SOWs. Send emails, make calls, add tasks for yourself and team members Track communications regarding each engagement Accurately forecast and track project budgets. The ideal candidate must have excellent written and communication skills and have a "No job is too small" attitude, while maintaining a “We are here to serve our customers” attitude and work ethic.
