DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) – South Campus (Nights)
Location: Saint Louis, MO, 63110
Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Contract Type: 13 Weeks

Certifications Required

• BLS: Required
• National Certification (one or more of the following):
  • CBSPED or CRST (via HSPA, formerly IAHCSMM)
  • NBSTSA
  • NCCT

Key Details

• Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 2200–0630
• Average Daily Tray Volume: ~700
• Number of ORs: 72
• Years of Experience Required: 2+ years
• First-Time Travelers: Considered with 2+ years of experience and prior Trauma I exposure
• Weekend Requirement: Sunday shift
• Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks (must be regular assigned shift length)
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 consecutive days
• Floating: Within facility and within scope of care (no sister facility floating)
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
• Locals Accepted: No (must live >75 miles from facility)
• Pending State License Accepted: Yes
• On-Call Requirement: None
