- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates.
- Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level.
- Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques.
- Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs.
