Assumes responsibilities for direct nursing care of assigned inmates/patients, adolescent through adult, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician in a correctional facility. May house 1,300-2,000 inmates/patients. \n\nProvides nursing services to patients in accordance with the scope of the Licensed Practical Nurse license. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of the MetroHealth Syustem. \n\nMandatory qualifications:\n\nLicence Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio ONLY\n\nActive BLS from the American Heart Association only\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nOne year of clinical experience in nursing.\n\nRequired Licenses/Certifications :\n\nLicenses Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio ONLY\n\nBasic Life Support from the American Heart Association ONLY\n\nWork Environment/Physical Requirements:\n\nCorrectional healthcare setting.\n\nAbility to walk and stand for long periods of time.\n\nAbility to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance.\n\nAbility to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance.
