The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant is responsible for treatment in the area of Speech Therapy. Provide quality speech-language therapy services, and conduct screening and therapy for children in the home, community, and other clinical settings. Develop rapport and works with assistants to ensure quality services. The employee will provide their services in a generally accepted manner while adhering to the profession's code of ethics and in accordance with any and all applicable state laws.

Work Location: Home/Clinic/Teletherapy.

Education/Training:

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Active/ valid State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or in the process.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
• Experience working in the home, Tele-Health, community, and clinical settings preferred.
• Must have a passion for working with children, families, and other service providers.
• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Current driver's license, and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual skills are valued, and Spanish is a plus.
• 1-year Early Intervention experience (preferred).
• Computer literate with the ability to learn customer service software applications.
• Professionally skilled in verbal and written communications.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Handles difficult situations directly, using appropriate discretion and respect for the individual.
• Meticulously organized in the approach to therapy data collection, SOAP notes, and medical record reviews
• Highly independent, energetic, organized with a "patient-first" mentality, strong work ethic, responsible, creative, reliable, and flexible with excellent follow-through skills
• Current CPR certification (preferred).
• Background check (Live Scan).
• Current TB test.
• COVID-19 Vaccination Card (accommodations provided).
• Desire to work with patients in a home setting is required.
• Pediatric experience is a plus!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule :

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Irvine, CA 92620: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• SLPA License (Required)
