Responsibilities Translate official USCIS documents (immigration forms, records, evidence submissions) from Spanish into English and English into Spanish. Maintain terminology accuracy and consistency using USCIS glossaries and style guides. Proofread translations to ensure clarity, grammar, and cultural appropriateness. Deliver assignments within required deadlines, including expedited tasks. Collaborate with Quality Control Analysts to meet ISO 17100 translation standards. Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols. Qualifications Fluency in Spanish and English (native or near-native proficiency). Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field (preferred). 2+ years of professional translation experience (legal or government documents preferred). ATA certification or equivalent credentials strongly preferred. Familiarity with CAT tools and secure translation platforms. Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $0.07–$0.10 per word Full-time salaried options available.
