Overview

Our client, a reputable company specialising in infrastructure, is seeking a Senior Planner to join their team. This permanent role is based near Northampton, working on HS2.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Planning function to prioritise and coordinate construction and design activities
• Maintain delivery of the main Civils Works contract
• Build, optimise, and update project plans during project execution
• Assist on all scheduling related matters internally and externally with the client
• Undertake all planning activities and work to improve and optimise Construction Project Plans
• Collaborate closely with the area lead and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Experience using Primavera P6
• Experience in a similar position within a construction environment
• Demonstrable experience and knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques
• Understanding of NEC3 contracts
• Excellent Excel skills
• Knowledge of the O365 package
• Recognised professional membership (e.g., ICE, APM, PMP)
• Hold a Full Driving License and have access to a vehicle
