Job Description

Description and Responsibilities:

My client is seeking an Inventory Control and WMS Administrator for their 1M Sq Ft distribution center. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Configure, monitor, and manage the overall performance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), Radio Frequency/RF devices, and other technology within the four walls of the building.
  • Communicating with IT support, as needed, for configurations or help desk assistance.
  • Leading a team of supervisors and teammates, being responsible for their performance and reviews.
  • Planning and managing inventory control functions for the building.
  • Conducting daily cycle counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
  • Assisting the Operations Team with requests for changes in the system.

Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will possess the following traits:

  • 5+ years of experience leading the Inventory Control functions for a distribution and/or fulfillment center.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • A solid history of developing other leaders to a promotional level.
  • A strong proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft applications, and RF scanning devices.
  • Knowledge of processes and flow of an automated distribution center.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PC and RF devices.
