Job Description
We're seeking passionate and energetic individuals to join our Customer Support Team for our exciting summer courses! Our programs cover a range of topics such as A.I., video game design, Unity 3D, app design, coding, Minecraft, and more! Support agents will work primarily in a hybrid environment, with in-person responsibilities in Freehold, NJ, and remote work options available. This is a seasonal position, from May through August, with flexible hours ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week.
About the Role: As a Customer Support Agent, you'll play an essential role in providing top-notch assistance to a wide range of customers, including parents, students, teachers, and program directors. Your day-to-day tasks will involve answering questions via live chat, phone, and email, regarding student projects, software issues, curriculum details, and general program support. We'll equip you with all the training you need to be successful in this role, including learning about various software tools and the cultural expectations of our organization.
What We're Looking For:
Hybrid Work Environment: While the role is primarily remote, you must be based within traveling distance of Freehold, NJ, and be willing to commute for in-person meetings, events, and certain shifts.
Excellent Communication Skills: Both written and oral communication are key to this role, as you'll be working directly with customers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Tech-Savvy: You'll need general proficiency with web browsers and Windows OS. Experience with game/app development, Minecraft, CAD, or digital animation suites is a plus!
Customer Service Experience: While prior experience isn't required, having a background in customer service, sales, or tech support is a bonus.
Problem-Solving Skills: You'll be the go-to person for resolving issues and answering questions, so attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot technical problems are important.
Positive & Personable: A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team will help you thrive in this role. We're looking for someone who is adaptable, friendly, and outgoing!
