We are seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer with strong skills in React.js, Node.js, and CSS to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining websites and web applications, ensuring smooth user interaction. This role involves working through all phases of the development life cycle, from planning and building to testing, deployment, and maintenance. The candidate should be well-versed in Agile methodologies and passionate about creating high-quality, user-friendly web experiences. Key Responsibilities Development: Build websites and applications through all phases of the development life cycle, including planning, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers using both traditional and Agile methodologies to plan and execute development tasks. Software Engineering Practices: Influence software engineering best practices within your team to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions. Platform Understanding: Maintain a solid grasp of software development principles, including understanding platform limitations such as user experience, battery life, connectivity, and performance. Front-End Development Tools: Work with common front-end development tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, and Yarn. Responsive & Adaptive Design: Ensure websites and applications are optimized for both Responsive and Adaptive Web Design. Web Standards: Uphold accessibility standards and web design best practices to deliver an inclusive experience. Required Qualifications Experience working with Agile methodologies and using tools like Jira for task tracking and project management. Strong design and coding skills with an understanding of front-end development best practices. Knowledge of Accessibility standards and Web Design best practices. Hands-on experience with Responsive and Adaptive Web Design. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Java, iOS, and Android development. Familiarity with additional front-end tools and frameworks. Experience with mobile-first design and optimizing websites for mobile use.
