Job Description

Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to establish, lead, and oversee the Quality Control Department at ANF Group . The QA/QC Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality management system, ensuring that all construction projects meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role will require collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain a culture of excellence and accountability in all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Quality Control Programs:

  • Create, document, and enforce a company-wide Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan tailored to the unique needs of construction projects.
  • Define quality standards, inspection procedures, and protocols for materials, workmanship, and project deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Project-Specific Quality Control Plans:

  • Work with project teams to develop and implement site-specific QA/QC plans.
  • Ensure QA/QC plans align with project schedules and budgets.

Perform Inspections and Audits:

  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect materials, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.
  • Identify non-conforming work, document deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Lead internal audits of construction practices and ensure subcontractors meet required quality standards.

Document Control and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, audits, test results, and certifications.
  • Prepare and present regular QA/QC reports to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and propose continuous improvement strategies.

Subcontractor and Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate and approve subcontractor quality programs and materials.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with contractual quality requirements.
  • Provide quality training and support to subcontractors and vendors.

Leadership and Training:

  • Build and manage a skilled QA/QC team as the department grows.
  • Provide training to project teams, field staff, and subcontractors on QA/QC procedures and standards.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and quality awareness throughout the organization.

Issue Resolution and Preventative Measures:

  • Investigate quality-related issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Implement preventative measures to reduce recurring quality problems.

Collaboration with Project Teams:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for quality issues across all departments.
  • Partner with the Planning & Scheduling department to ensure quality is integrated into project planning.
  • Work closely with clients and external inspectors to address quality concerns and maintain positive relationships.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. (Equivalent experience may be considered.)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction quality control, project management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful QA/QC systems in the construction industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Thorough knowledge of construction processes, materials, methods, and standards.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, and QA/QC software tools.
