Job Description

As Quality Assurance (QA) Leader here at Our Company, you are the one person responsible for ensuring the quality of all our products or features throughout their lifecycle. This involves improving existing and developing new quality assurance processes if needed, as well as implementing and leading our team of offshore QA professionals. Further, you are responsible for collaborating with other teams to identify and resolve quality issues before or as they arise. Key Responsibilies:

  • Defining and driving increasing quality for each product by enabling engineering teams to deliver higher quality by default.
  • Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads
  • Study existing automated testing processes across CICD pipelines to understand as well as to identify any new opportunities.
  • Work daily and closely with development teams and QA teams to understand and maximize the component integration
  • Developing and Implementing QA Plans: Creating and executing test plans, test cases, and documentation to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Leading and Managing Offshore QA Teams: Overseeing the work of QA engineers, assigning tasks, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Conducting Quality Testing: Performing manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure the product or service functions as intended.
  • Analyzing Defect Trends: Identifying patterns in defects, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Staying up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality assurance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in QA processes, implementing new technologies, and promoting a culture of quality excellence.
  • Providing Technical Expertise: Offering guidance and support to QA team members on testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Training and Development: Providing training and development opportunities for QA team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: Working with product managers, engineers, and other teams to gather feedback, identify risks, and ensure alignment on quality expectations.
  • Reporting and Communication: Communicating quality status and metrics to stakeholders, including identifying risks and recommending solutions.

  • You have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
  • You are competent in executing test cases
  • You are often told that you are obsessive about getting things right, you remember everything and never miss a detail.
  • Are deeply passionate about the quality of products, the associated user experience and uncompromising engineering standards
  • You have been doing this for over 5 years and are still wide-eyed about the possibilities of delivering high-quality products
  • Have a BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Have experience in analytics platform/ product testing is highly preferred
  • Are skilled in troubleshooting issues and help the development team in reproducing the same
  • Have hands-on experience in AWS infra components
  • Able to write SaaS Infra End-to-End testing scenarios
  • Able to build end-to-end testing scenarios
  • Able to write test cases around testing the system’s robustness and performance
  • Working knowledge of test management software, SQL
  • Have excellent communication, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills in a diverse environment working with cross-functional teams in different time zones.
  • Actively provide mentorship in your team to help people be more effective and grow
