Summary: The position coordinates sampling program and engraving tooling while managing administrative tasks and communication between vendors, internal teams, and production departments. This role ensures accurate documentation, organized workflows, and timely project completion for design and production needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Bindery/Sampling:

  • Manage sampling material for all brands (tip cards/memos/presentation boards) from start to completion
  • Work directly with bindery to understand and evaluate sampling pricing, yardage requirements, scheduling, and timing
  • Coordinate sampling releases with the internal Marketing team and distributors
  • Create POs, enter orders/bill distributors for sampling items (tip cards, memos, rings, boards)
  • Prepare the monthly sample books billed & received report for the finance department

Roller Management:

  • Manage communication with Engravers, Production Depts. (QC, Print, Lam, Scheduling, Copper Rack, Shipping and Receiving), Customer Service.
  • Set-up and maintain print and emboss roller archives both digitally and physically (roller proofs), Unix and G-drive.
  • Communicate roller status and delivery with Studio and Plant
  • Set-up and maintain roller Shipping and Receiving long for collection and analyzing history
  • Monitor and report roller purchases, damages and engraving insights
  • Generate and issue purchase orders, communicate and release all new, re-developed and print issues with engravers
  • Maintain knowledge of new product compositions (substrates, weights, type)
  • Set-up, maintain, organize and test hang all print and emboss rollers
  • Resolve print issues with QC and Print Department

Administrative Support:

  • Data Entry for Customs and Studio projects
  • Create folders, organize, and file physical samples.
  • Perform a variety of tasks such as sample cutting & general housekeeping and organizational tasks as needed
  • Prepare reports and updates to support decision-making and department planning

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree or related work experience
