So where do we start? We are developing veterinary urgent care facilities that deliver exceptional care experiences and promote the well-being of our entire team. Truss Vet treats non-life threatening emergencies that dont belong in the ER but may not fit into the busy day of a general practice. Its kind of like human urgent care, but our model is so much better.

As the Practice Manager, you are the co-leader of the clinic in partnership with the Medical Director. You are responsible for ensuring the clinic is operating at its very best. This means cultivating a fun, work-hard/play-hard team environment, exceeding client expectations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medicine (and a never ending supply of Cerenia in the fridge), and maintaining strong financial performance. Your job is to build a team that is leveraged to direct their energies and passions where their skills are best utilized, to help build one of the best clinics and best places to work on the planet. No pressure :)

You will work directly with the leadership team. Not just reporting to them, but working alongside them in the clinic each day to help define this important new category in the veterinary space. This will involve identifying and hiring the opening team, establish Truss Vets presence in a new market, and more! It will be the most challenging but also rewarding! opportunity of your career.

Truss Vet is currently under construction in Columbia, SC. We anticipate this role onboarding 4 weeks prior to the clinic opening, tentatively in December 2025.

• You have 2+ years of experience as a practice manager in a veterinary clinic where you were responsible for managing HR, financial performance, inventory, and operations
