SUMMARY
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations, ensuring efficient production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes, minimize downtime, and maximize output.
Monitor and manage production schedules to meet customer demands while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, promoting a culture of safety among staff.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering raw materials and maintaining appropriate stock
levels.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Foster a positive work environment, providing coaching and mentorship to staff, and resolving personnel issues as needed.
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to optimize plant operations.
Prepare and present reports on plant performance, including production efficiency, quality metrics, and financial results.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervise production staff, including team leads, machine operators, and maintenance technicians.
Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to employees, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
Rubber and Automotive experience required
Proven track record of driving operational improvements, cost reduction, and quality enhancement initiatives.
