Position Overview
The Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficient production and adherence to safety and quality standards in the food processing industry. This role is critical for maintaining high levels of productivity while fostering a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the plant to ensure effective production processes.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards including HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead, motivate, and develop plant staff to achieve operational goals and maintain high levels of performance.
• Monitor production metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product quality and safety standards throughout the production process.
• Manage inventory and oversee supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
• Develop and control budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
• Implement training programs for staff regarding safety protocols and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Business, Animal Science, Food Science, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in food production or manufacturing management, preferably in meat or fresh processing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in managing diverse teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Travel Requirements

• Up to 10% travel as needed.

Annual Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000
