Mobile X-Ray / EKG Technologist

Pay: $48.00 – $54.00/hour

Hours/Day: 8
Shift Notes: AM, PM, Weekend, Evenings // 3 FT, 2 PT
Weekend Requirements: Weekend coverage
On-Call Requirements: Yes – discussed at interview
Relocation: Possible, discussed at interview
State Licensure Reimbursement: After 90 days of employment

Position Summary:

Provide mobile X‐Ray and EKG (if applicable) services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. Ensure clinically diagnostic and technically competent images for physician and radiologist interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and process X‐Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit results to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Unload portable X‐Ray equipment and transport it to facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if required).
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
• Communicate efficiently and professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and X‐Ray equipment.

Physical Demands:

• Must meet the physical requirements to perform essential functions.
• May push/pull 50–100 lbs with use of vehicle ramps and pulleys.
• Pushing/pulling equipment in facilities or homes may occasionally exceed 50 lbs, up to 16–24 times per day.

Requirements:

• Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state and in good standing at all times.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 is required, unless proper exemption documentation is provided.
