About the Role:

As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will work directly with our pediatric dentists, assisting in a variety of dental procedures while ensuring our young patients have a positive experience during their visits.

Responsibilities:

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that builds trust with children and their families for a stress-free experience.
• Educate children and their parents on proper oral care and the significance of regular dental checkups in a fun and engaging manner.
• Accurately maintain patient records, including medical history and treatment notes, ensuring detailed charting and documentation.
• Keep the clinical area spotless and organized, adhering to strict infection control protocols, including regular sterilization of instruments.
• Prepare treatment rooms before patient arrival by ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready.
• Assist in taking and processing dental X-rays, following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current Dental Assistant (DA) Certification, X Ray license, Infection Control, and CPR certification.
• Successful completion of the initial online assessment during the application process.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Strong positive and friendly attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills for a welcoming environment.
