Payroll Specialist

Responsible for the payroll processing and work in collaboration with ADP Team and our operations team to ensure our employees get paid correctly and on time and provide the support needed to the pay groups assigned.

• On-Cycle Payroll (Pay Groups Assigned by Director Payroll Manager) Conduct Payroll pre-audit using ADP Vantage Reports.
• Follow the process established to handles the pay groups assigned for payroll processing.

• Off-Cycle Payroll and Corrections Make sure that any corrections needed for payroll is handled using the tool or as historical edit in the next payroll.
• Handle any overpayment or missing hours correction.
• Handles Stop Payments and Direct Deposit Reversals
• Retro pay calculation-If rate change isn't effective the 1st date of the pay period, tasty payroll must calculate the retroactive payment.

Wisely Pay Cards -Work as a partner with HR Ops Contact to ensure that the enrollment is processed, and any funding as needed.

• Wage Garnishment, Unemployment and Payroll Taxes. When the specialist is working in office assist in the scanning of notices for Unemployment, Garnishment to the Payroll Coordinator
• And if any tax related document is received address it to the Snr. Payroll Manager to be handled.
• Also ensure that any refund for garnishment received in processed into payroll.

• Communication: Each Payroll Specialist is required to keep an excellent communication with each member of TRG Payroll Team, ADP Payroll Team, and HR Operations to handle all aspects related with the payroll process.
• Handle and maintain the email box for your pay groups assigned and keep it organized by WE or PPE date.

• Projects: Assist the Payroll Director with projects assigned to the department. Ex. Uncashed Checks, Payroll History Reporting and BLS Multi-worksite Reporting.
