Job Description

Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a longstanding and reputable organization out of Denver, Colorado in their search for a Part-Time Administrative Assistant. This role supports senior leadership, primarily the acting head of the organization, by managing tasks related to time coordination, confidential communications, and interfacing with advisory members. It requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Contract Length: 3 months to start

Pay: $25 - $28/hr, depending on experience

Schedule: Onsite Monday - Friday (9:30 am - 3:30 pm), 30 hours/week guaranteed

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize word processing and spreadsheet tools to create documents, organize materials, and manage records.
  • Prepare for quarterly leadership/advisory meetings:
  • Send notifications and track confirmations
  • Organize meeting materials and custom labels
  • Attend sessions to document discussions
  • Arrange meetings at the request of leadership or other stakeholders and assist with logistics when necessary
  • Maintain and update the executive’s scheduling system, ensuring all relevant documents are attached to meeting events

SUPPORT DUTIES:

  • Keep advisory member contact list current
  • Monitor and update incoming/outgoing financial items related to advisory members
  • Draft correspondence including thank-you notes and organization-wide communications
  • Provide professional assistance in-person and over the phone to team members, contributors, and volunteers
  • Independently manage tasks with attention to timelines and priority
  • Become knowledgeable about the organization’s programs and operations
  • Participate in meetings and functions when requested

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Typing speed of at least 70 words per minute
  • Solid working knowledge of common business software (email, documents, spreadsheets, video conferencing)
  • Self-starter with strong task management and the ability to handle duties with minimal guidance

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, required
  • At least six years of experience in administrative roles
