Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York ( PAGNY ) is adding a MOHS Surgeon to the Dermatology

group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. The hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Metropolitan Hospital accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide MOHS surgical services to a dedicated patient panel
• Attend to a full spectrum of dermatological oncology procedures in a highly diverse patient population
• Education of residents, medical students, and junior medical staff
• Per diem opportunity

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical school
• Unrestricted NYS medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Graduate from a Dermatology residency
• Board certified in Dermatology
• Fellowship trained in MOHS Surgery - Board Certification preferred but not required
• Previous experience teaching residents preferred
• Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
