Simulator Product Solutions LLC ( is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-fidelity displays, grips, panels, and test sets for simulation use only by the U.S. military, friendly foreign militaries, prime contractors such as Boeing and Lockheed, and commercial airlines globally. We are seeking two salespeople to join the sales team and our 35+ person team.

Position summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Avionics Sales Specialist to help with business development and sales campaigns for our state-of-the-art avionics systems and services within U.S. and international military and prime contractor channels, as well as commercial airlines. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background and a proven track record of growing sales within the defense sector.

Key responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with defense contractors, the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), international military customers, prime contractors and system integrators, and commercial airlines.
  • Strategic Sales: Lead complex sales cycles from initial contact to negotiation and closing multi-million-dollar contracts.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain influential relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and program managers at all organizational levels.
  • Proposal Management: Coordinate and respond to Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Requests for Quote (RFQ), ensuring compliance with FAR and DFAR requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on our avionics systems, helping to provide technical consultation and compelling product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Market Analysis: Keep informed of military and commercial market trends, procurement budgets, and competitor activities to assist with strategic sales planning.

Required qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of successful experience in technical highly engineered product sales, business development, or program management, with a focus on avionics, electronics, or related systems.
  • Technical Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience is also acceptable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% for customer meetings, trade shows, and conferences.

Desired characteristics

  • Experience with selling aftermarket services and upgrades in addition to original equipment.
  • Prior experience in the armed forces or with military systems.
