Job Description

Serves as the point person ensuring proper communication between doctors, mid-level providers, associated management teams and patients. Assisting medical providers with all patient functions including collection of intake information, setup and assistance with exams and procedures.

Essential Functions

• Assist providers during patient visits
• Document visit details
• Assist in patient call backs
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve clinical operations, and streamline work processes

• Work collaboratively with a variety of different personalities

• Motivate staff members to effectively complete tasks
• Resolve conflict positively while demonstrating mutual respect

Requirements

• High level of computer skills
• NexTech knowledge preferably
• Exceptional customer service, communication skills and general etiquette
• Microsoft Office
• Dependable
• Flexible
• Punctual
• Team player
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• May be required to stand for long periods of the day

Preferred

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certification, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or higher education from an accredited institution
• NexTech experience

More Information

• Previous experience in a Dermatology medical practice, or hospital setting preferred.
• This is a full-time position (30 to 40 hours a week on average). We offer BCBS medical, dental, and retirement benefits after an introductory period. Personal time off (PTO) is earned each pay period at a rate determined by the amount of years worked. PTO can be used after three months of employment.
