Job Description

Location: Remote (Must be located within one hour of our office (approximately one hour southeast of Minneapolis/St. Paul) to accommodate occasional in-person meetings. Minnesota residency is not required.)

Salary: $75,000 - 85,000 + performance bonus potential depending on experience + performance bonus potential

We're a fast-growing, results-driven, commercial landscape company that specializes in athletic fields, commercial sites, and township maintenance. We're looking for an action-oriented and results-driven marketing leader to join our team.

The Marketing Manager position exists to drive growth in our business by driving measurable results and generating high quality leads. As our Marketing Manager, you'll be the go-to marketing leader in our organization. This isn't a cushy corporate role-it's a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to build, run, and scale marketing efforts that matter.

You'll be responsible for :

Providing input, insight and expertise to the creation of the business goals and marketing strategy.

Driving brand strategy and local market positioning.

Identifying marketing opportunities, plans and campaigns to target our ideal clients, including email or social media campaigns, ads, trade shows and events.

Building and managing campaigns to generate high quality leads.

Identifying effective marketing activities and campaigns by tracking and reporting on KPIs and ROI of marketing activities.

Creating marketing materials including tools, pitch decks, trade shows materials, presentations, and other marketing collateral.

Managing vendors and freelancers (writers, designers, ad specialists)

Developing and owning the quarterly marketing plans and budget.

Pushing back on "random acts of marketing" and keeping efforts focused

Positioning the company to attract top talent and potential employees

Ideal candidates will have:

5+ years of hands-on marketing experience (ideally in services, trades, or B2B)

A blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution-you can plan and do

Strong knowledge of digital marketing: SEO, content, paid search, email, and social

Experience managing small budgets and vendors

A proven ability to coordinate with sales to align business development tactics

Confidence to lead discussions with owners and influence direction

Bonus: Familiarity with the landscape, construction, or facilities industries
