Role Summary

We are seeking a talented individual to operate manual and CNC machining equipment. In this role, you will:

• Make program edits on CNC machines
• Ensure components meet precise dimensions and tolerances
• Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and scales
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Contribute to safety and efficiency improvements
• Complete associated paperwork accurately

This is a 1st Shift Position in Raleigh, NC.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and operate manual and CNC machining equipment
• Edit CNC programs directly at the machine
• Machine components to meet print specifications
• Measure parts accurately using various tools
• Drive improvements in safety and efficiency
• Complete all required training and paperwork
• Work across multiple machines and processes
• Provide guidance to junior team members

What We’re Looking For

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• A commitment to a zero-accident safety culture
• Strong math skills, including basic trigonometry
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Understanding of G-code and/or conversational programming
• Experience with precision measuring tools
• Knowledge of fixturing and safe work holding

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with cast materials
• Basic rigging and overhead crane usage
• Understanding of turning and milling insert geometries
• Knowledge of machining stainless alloys

Working Conditions

• First shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:30
• Second shift: Monday to Friday, 14:45 - 23:15
• Overtime as required (36-hour notice for required overtime)
