Shift: 1:00 PM-9:00 PM

 

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Technicians will assist with the preparation and distribution of medications, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations. This is a dynamic role that includes rotating through various shifts and satellite pharmacy locations.

 

Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of a pharmacist, rotating assignments and tours to meet department needs
Accurately perform pharmacy-related tasks within designated timeframes
Deliver, retrieve, and return medications, medication carts, and supplies throughout the hospital
Operate and troubleshoot automated dispensing equipment as necessary
Adhere to regulatory and institutional policies for pharmaceutical practice

 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting
• Experience with pharmacy dispensing, sterile processing, and IV room operations is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must be licensed as a Registered Pharmacy Technician by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
