\n Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 37.5 hours/week
\n Start Date: August 2025 (for the 2025–2026 school year)
\n Compensation: $55–$70/hour, based on experience and skillset

Position Overview:
\nWe are seeking a full-time, licensed Occupational Therapist to support students across a full range of grade levels in the Emery, CA area for the 2025–2026 school year. This position is school-based and involves working with a diverse caseload of students with varying needs.

Daily Responsibilities:

\n\n

    Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-help, and functional skills within the educational environment

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Develop individualized goals and treatment plans in alignment with students' IEPs

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Provide direct therapy services focused on fine motor development, handwriting, self-regulation, sensory processing, visual-perceptual skills, and functional school participation

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Assist students with adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to increase access to curriculum and school routines

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Support students in developing independence in tasks such as dressing, toileting, feeding, and organizing materials

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Collaborate with teachers and classroom teams to integrate OT strategies into daily instruction and classroom activities

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Model and train staff on sensory strategies, classroom modifications, and motor planning support

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and provide regular updates on student progress

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services, assessments, and communications

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Participate in district-level collaboration and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Maintain professional standards and comply with all FERPA, HIPAA, and district regulations

    \n\t

Qualifications:

    Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Valid California Occupational Therapy License

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    NBCOT certification

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

    \n\t
  • \n\t
  • \n\t

    Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
