Job Description

YULA High School is looking for an energetic, passionate and experienced coach to serve as the Women's JV Basketball Coach at YULA High School Girls Division. Our school is seeking an applicant who will teach and mold these young women into student-athletes. You must possess excellent communication and leadership skills. Assisting participants in the development of the required physical and sport-specific skills is a must. We strive ourselves on putting person before player, and being a team player with the YULA Family.

Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Develop professional relationships with the student-athletes and parents
• Help to grow and develop the soccer program
• Required to be on the bus for all home and away games
• Having close contact with the Athletic Director & Head Coach
• Supervise all aspects of the program and help to grow the program
• Responsible for inventory making sure to keep track of all of our equipment
• 2-3 practices a week plus matches
• Monitor student-athletes attendance, behavior and academic status
• Perform other related duties assigned by the athletic direction
• Must complete NFHS courses provided by the Athletic Director prior to coaching

Qualifications Coaching and higher level playing experience is desired

• Advanced knowledge of the sport
• CPR & First Aid Certification required or ability to be certified
• Successfully pass a mandatory background check
