Janitor Position

System One is actively seeking a janitor for a position located in Amarillo, TX. The janitor will be responsible for janitorial duties for the office and plant area of a power plant. The candidate must be able to lift approximately 60 pounds without assistance and will maintain and wax floors as needed. Additional responsibilities include removing trash, preparing tea/coffee for lunch and breaks, and maintaining supplies. The janitor may also work outside at times.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 60lbs. without assistants
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures
• Ability to work 40 hours a week on their feet, and climb numerous stairs

Hours:

Normally a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday, 7AM 3:30PM. Overtime during outages may be required.

Benefits:

This is strictly a long term contract assignment with limited benefits. We do offer a limited health plan with reasonable rates to assist with medical costs. Paid time off is acquired as follows:

• After 1200 hours worked, eligible for 5 paid holidays
• After 1500 hours worked, eligible for 40 hours vacation
