F orvis Mazars Wealth Advisors, LLC, a nationally recognized Registered Investment Advisor, and wholly owned subsidiary of F orvis Mazars is seeking to add a Wealth Management professional to serve as an Associate Advisor who will assist senior wealth management advisors in working with high-net worth families in our F orvis Mazars Private Client practice.

How you will contribute :

  • Wealth Advisor Interns participate in a 10-week paid program with the following learning objectives :
  • Gain ing a comprehensive overview of the wealth management industry
  • Hav ing an opportunity to experience the various roles that exist within a successful RIA (Registered Investment Advisor) firm including financial planning advisor; portfolio manager; and operations
  • Be ing provided the ability to develop and practice the skills needed to be a successful team member
  • Gain ing the knowledge to help the intern choose the best fit career track for their goals
  • Delivering F orvis Mazars ’ commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.
  • Interns will participate in a capstone project to conclude the internship, having the opportunity to present on a topic to the firm’s leadership team.
  • The summer internship will consist of participants from across the firm’s geographical footprint. The intern participants will be paired with a program sponsor in their local market.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Intern candidates must be working toward a financial planning degree and CPA/CFP exam eligibility
  • Solid technical financial or accounting knowledge
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications :

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)
