Position Overview

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a forward-thinking firm to find an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team in Georgia. This is an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in insurance defense, eager to tackle a diverse range of civil litigation matters. The role is onsite and conveniently located near Truist Park.

Responsibilities

• Handle a substantial caseload involving civil litigation and insurance defense litigation, including general liability, products liability, premises liability, and representation of financial institutions, professional liability, construction defect, and insurance coverage.
• Draft, prepare, and manage pleadings, motions, orders, and legal memoranda.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Engage with clients, providing legal guidance and support throughout the litigation process.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client defense.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice in Georgia State and federal district courts.
• Three to eight years of general insurance defense experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Eagerness to learn and handle a variety of legal matters for nationwide clients.

Monday - Friday

Benefits

This position offers competitive hourly compensation in the range of $50 - $64 per hour, depending on experience.
