Robert Half is partnering with a client in Dexter, MI to identify an HR Assistant for a fully onsite role. This dynamic and fast-paced position offers an exciting opportunity to support the Human Resources team and make a significant impact on daily operations. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to a positive workplace culture, this could be the ideal role for you! M- F 8am - 5pm and pay up to $25/hr depending on experience. ONLY those who qualify will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including employee file maintenance and compliance documentation.
Support the recruitment and onboarding process by scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and managing orientation logistics.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures while providing excellent internal customer service.
Maintain and organize employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with local/state regulations.
Assist in payroll preparation, verifying timekeeping records, and addressing basic payroll-related questions.
Support HR projects, initiatives, and events, such as employee engagement programs and detail oriented development activities.
Ensure compliance with all company, federal, and state policies related to Human Resources.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
Proven experience in an HR-related role, preferably as an HR Assistant, Coordinator, or similar position.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS or payroll software is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
