Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Housekeeping Manager, located in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a working manager position, meaning you'll be expected to actively assist your team by cleaning guest rooms, making beds, supporting laundry operations, and maintaining common areas. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and managing the laundry department. Additional responsibilities include maintaining excellent customer service, effective communication with staff and guests, and participating in the hiring and training of housekeeping personnel.

Schedule Expectations:

This position typically works five days per week , with Saturday and Sunday included as part of the regular schedule. The manager will have two weekdays off . Reliability on weekends are essential to the success of this role.

Qualifications

• Supervisory Skills and experience in managing a team
• Expertise in Laundry operations and procedures
• Strong Customer Service skills to enhance guest satisfaction
• Effective Communication skills for interaction with staff and guests
• Experience in Hiring and training housekeeping staff
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality management is preferred
