Now Hiring: Forklift Operator with CDL-A License – All Shifts Available
Location: New Holland, PA | Pay: $24-$26/ hour | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Allegiance Staffing is seeking skilled Forklift Operators with a valid CDL Class A license for a premier food warehouse in New Holland, PA. This is a unique opportunity to blend your warehouse skills with yard jockey and CDL duties in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Position Overview:
You’ll operate high-reach stand-up forklifts and other powered equipment to move materials, pick orders, and maintain inventory. In addition to core forklift duties, you’ll support as a yard jockey, moving trailers and equipment as needed once hired directly.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate high-reach stand-up forklift, pallet jack, and electric hand trucks
Pick and record products accurately in a refrigerated warehouse
Stage, load, and unload trailers; rotate stock and maintain inventory
Transfer product between departments or buildings
Assist with project room transfers and material consolidation
Maintain cleanliness and equipment sanitation
Safely operate yard trucks and trailers (upon hire)
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A license (required)
Minimum 1 year of warehouse or forklift experience
Experience in a refrigerated warehouse environment preferred
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift
Stand-up forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to communicate, read, and write in English
Comfortable working in refrigerated temperatures
