Entry-Level Legal Assistant / Law Firm Bookkeeper

 

Bernstein Polsky, PLLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented entry-level employee to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation and organization of legal documents.
• Maintaining and organizing client files.
• Communicating with clients, attorneys and third-parties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as answering phones, copying, and filing.
• Learning and utilizing legal software and databases.
• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and trust account reconciliation.
• Process invoices and payments.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Perform general office duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in an office environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Able to use and utilize Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proficient with basic accounting and math.
