  • Manage and update internal databases and recurring data products to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Organize datasets to allow efficient analysis and integration into reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Research & Reporting

  • Research and write economic reports, briefs, and data summaries based on quantitative analysis and established templates.
  • Translate complex economic and statistical findings into clear, concise narratives suitable for non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to recurring economic publications as well as ad hoc research projects.
Collaboration & Project Support

  • Collaborate with economists and research staff on multidisciplinary projects spanning labor markets, industry analysis, housing, policy, and regional growth.
  • Support senior team members with data analysis, research tasks, and presentation preparation.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Labor Economics, Economic Development, Data Science, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of relevant professional experience in applied economic research, data analysis, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting quantitative analysis and empirical research using economic or labor market data.
  • Familiarity with statistical software such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and produce clear takeaways from data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with national, state, and local economic data sources and their interpretation.
  • Strong attention to detail and data organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
  • Note: These are preferred qualifications; candidates are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet all criteria.
