Job Description

Go Maverick Group has a rapidly growing, client who is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven E-commerce Specialist to manage, optimize and launch their product listings across major online marketplaces, including Amazon and Home Depot. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketplace activation, SEO best practices, and data analytics to drive product visibility, sales, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketplace Management: Oversee product listings, content optimization, pricing strategies, and promotions on existing marketplaces, along with pursuing new opportunities.
  • Product Management: Contribute to the success of our client's house brand presence online on their owned websites and marketplaces. Includes product promotion through search marketing, social media, email, and focused micro-sites.
  • Customer Service: Monitor and respond to customer inquiries related to our house products across our micro-sites and marketplaces.
  • Product Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve product rankings, optimize titles, descriptions, keywords, images, videos, and enhanced content layouts.
  • Advertising & Promotions: Manage paid advertising campaigns and promotions to maximize visibility and conversions, while producing a favorable return-on-ad-spend (ROAS). *Not required but would be a plus!
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze sales data, conversion rates, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions.
  • Inventory & Pricing: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams, and implement competitive pricing strategies.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure adherence to each marketplace’s guidelines, policies, and best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other internal stakeholders in production, supply chain, and distribution to align marketplace strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Contribute to other e-commerce/marketing and sales support duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience managing e-commerce websites or presence on marketplaces, preferably with Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart, or Wayfair.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-commerce tools, marketplace dashboards, and analytics platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Home Depot Vendor Portal, Google Analytics, Google Ads, etc.).
  • SEO Knowledge: Understanding of search engine optimization and keyword research for marketplace algorithms.
  • Content Creation: Ability to tell compelling stories by compiling, editing and crafting product content across text and visual mediums. Ability to leverage AI tools in workflows. Includes video scripting/storyboarding.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong data analysis skills with experience in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple SKUs, listings, and promotions simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making skills to troubleshoot listing issues and improve sales performance.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and marketplace support interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Amazon Advertising, A+ Content, and Brand Registry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, e-commerce automation tools, or third-party marketplace management platforms.
