Job Title: Dump Truck Driver
Location: Kernersville, NC
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Dump Truck Driver with a valid Class A or Class B

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to join our construction team. The Dump Truck Driver is responsible for transporting construction materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and debris to and from job sites while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive dump trucks safely to transport materials to and from construction sites.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips and complete daily vehicle inspection reports.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight restrictions.
• Follow designated routes and schedules as directed by dispatch or supervisors.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repairs.
• Communicate with supervisors, site crews, and dispatch regarding load deliveries and site conditions.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
• Keep trucks clean and in good working condition.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1–2 years of dump truck or heavy vehicle driving experience preferred.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug test and physical.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction or land development environments.
• Knowledge of local area roadways and construction sites.
