Folkston Park Care & Rehab is actively seeking a  Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to join and lead our IN-HOUSE therapy team! Requires PT/PTA/OT/COTA/SLP license.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of dedicated health care professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, orient and mentor all therapy staff; excited about the opportunity to 'build a rehab department' with the very best
• Review all relevant data and utilize clinical judgement to ensure appropriate delivery of therapy care to maximize outcomes and meet desired goals at discharge
• Plan accordingly to schedule staff based on clinical needs and coordinating treatment activity of staff members
• Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and understand the role of rehabilitation for all therapy disciplines
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness and organization of all departmental paperwork, including conducting documentation audits
• Prompt preparation and delivery of any regular reports
• Projects a positive and professional image at all times
• Reports to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum efficiency
• Establish and promote clinical programs/enhancement as indicated
• Adheres to established confidentiality standards
• Engage in recruiting interviews, employee development, goal setting, constructive feedback, corrective actions, performance appraisals
• Work proactively to manage and build PRN pool, contact and schedule as need
• Participate in facility and company meetings
• Ability to analyze interpret and achieve budget expectations on a consistent basis
• Assure staff all understand and are compliant with the Federal, State and Local laws, rules and regulations related to therapy service delivery
• Provide a safe environment to utilize tools and equipment in a safe manner complying with all infection control, universal precautions and standards for the healthcare professional
• Develop professional working relationships with staff, facility team members, residents, and resident family members
