📍 Location: Fort Meade, MD | Industry: Heavy Civil | Type: Full-Time | Salary, Exempt

Are you a boots-on-the-ground leader with a passion for getting the job done right, safely, and on time? At Total Civil Construction & Engineering , we’re hiring a Foreman to take charge in the field and drive quality, safety, and production with confidence.

🛠 What You’ll Do

As a Foreman, you’ll lead crews on heavy civil utility projects—keeping people safe, operations smooth, and results on track. You’ll work side-by-side with superintendents, PMs, and equipment teams to deliver excellence from start to finish.

• Supervise and coordinate crews (operators, pipelayers, laborers)
• Plan work assignments, daily schedules, and resource needs
• Ensure work is performed safely and meets TCCE standards
• Monitor productivity, track performance, and maintain site documentation
• Investigate incidents and participate in safety meetings and corrective actions
• Train, mentor, and coach team members
• Work closely with vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors
• Use Procore, Heavy Job, and MS Teams to report and communicate

🎓 What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of experience in wet utilities or heavy civil work
• Strong knowledge of storm drain, water, and sewer systems
• Confident with site coordination, safety enforcement, and crew supervision
• Proficient in Procore, Heavy Job , and MS Office (Outlook, Teams)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel to job sites across DC/MD/VA using your own vehicle
• Comfortable with outdoor environments, changing schedules, and tight deadlines
• Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus, but not required
