Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement competitive swim and dive programs for a diverse student body.
  • Coach and mentor student-athletes to achieve personal and athletic goals.
  • Maintain current TB test, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with the California Interscholastic Federation Code of Ethical Conduct.
  • Prepare athletes and coaches for competition, including scheduling meets and overseeing travel logistics.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, fitness staff, and parents to support student wellness.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate California Teaching Credential (Non-certificated applicants may apply under California Administrative Code Section 5531).
  • Successful coaching experience in high school swim and dive.
  • Current TB test, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
  • Familiarity with the Code of Ethical Conduct published by the California Interscholastic Federation.
  • Preference given to in-house candidates.
