About the Role:
This role will lead hands-on machining and programming across a variety of production environments — from tight-turnaround R&D parts to steady long-run production. You'll be working in a clean, professional shop environment committed to precision and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
• Program, set up, and operate 3-axis CNC Mills
• Program, set up, and operate 3-axis CNC Lathes (Fanuc controller experience required)
• Lead machining projects ranging from fast-turn prototype parts (1-4 day turn around) to long-run production work
• Manage part workflows from raw stock to finished inspection
• Prioritize and execute quick-turn jobs — many parts will need to be completed in under a week to meet customer delivery schedules
• Optimize speeds, feeds, tooling, and setups for efficiency and repeatability
• Collaborate with quoting and engineering for manufacturability feedback
• Perform in-process inspection to ensure critical tolerance compliance
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces with attention to detail
• Operate with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality craftsmanship

Requirements:• 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment
• Strong experience programming and operating 3-axis mills and 3-axis lathes with Fanuc controls
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and GD&T
• Proven ability to work independently and lead jobs from start to finish
• Familiarity with inspection tools and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to craftsmanship
